What does All Star Driver Education offer?
We provide a great way to take your Nevada Drivers Ed course! 100% online using engaging lessons, videos, games and practice quizzes!
How long will this course take to complete?
That depends on your individual pace. In Nevada, all driver’s education courses must be at least 30 hours. You can always go at your own pace and log in and out at your convenience. You have up to 6 hours a day to work on the course.
Is driver education required for me?
Although students will not need drivers education to apply for their permit, all students under the age of 18 will be required to have a driver’s education class in order to apply for their license.
How long do I have to work on the course?
The state allows you to work on the course for up to 6 hours a day. If you hit that 6-hour mark, you will be logged out of your class and have to wait 24 hours before you can log back in. We recommend working until you get logged out. The time you get logged out will be the time you can log back in in 24 hours.
How old do I have to be to start driver education?
You have to be 15 years old to begin your driver education course.
I do not have my temporary permit.
That’s okay. You do not need to take drivers education to obtain a learners permit. You will be eligible to apply for your permit at the age of 15 ½. For more information about what documentation you will need, please visit your local DMV website, or stop by a local office.
How do I complete the Behind The Wheel?
In the state of Nevada, students will have 2 options for their Behind the Wheel. Most students will complete 50 hours of behind the wheel driving instruction with a parent/guardian once they have a valid permit. If there is no drivers education company within a 30-mile radius of your residence and you would not like to take an online course, then there is the option to complete a full 100 hours of behind the wheel driving instruction with a parent/guardian. For more information or to download some Drive Logs, please visit your local DMV office, or their website for more details.
