How long will this course take to complete?
That depends on your individual pace. In Indiana, all drivers’ education courses must be at least 30 hours. You can always go at your own pace and log in and out at your convenience. Keep in mind; the state of Indiana only gives 180 days to complete the entire program.
I can’t log in. my account says “pending.”
Even though the account is successfully made and entered into our system, we do still require a copy of the Indiana Online Contract before we can “unlock” the account for the student to begin actively working on the course. This contract can be found under the forms section on our website.
How long do I have to work on the course?
The state allows you to work on the course for up to 3 hours a day. If you hit that 3-hour mark, you will be logged out of your class and have to wait 24 hours before you can log back in. We recommend logging out a few minutes before you hit that time limit. Doing that, you will be able to log in again the next day at any time.
My certificate has not come by email yet.
All certificates are emailed no later than Friday of every week. If you have not received your certificate by email, please first check your Spam folder. If you still do not see it please contact our Compliance Department at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we can email you another copy.
Is driver education required for me?
It is required for anyone under the age of 18.
How does online driver’s education work?
You will just need to create an account on our website, pay, and submit all paperwork. Once your Indiana Online Contract is submitted, you will have full access to your course.
Once you actively begin working on the course, we will email you a Certificate of Enrollment, which you can take your local BMV to apply for your Learner’s License.
There will be a final exam at the end of your online course. Once you pass the test, our site will automatically email your Certificate of Completion to you as well, or you can access this certificate from your account.
How old do I have to be to start driver education?
You can be 15 years old to begin your driver education course.
I do not have my temporary permit.
You can still enroll and take classes before receiving your permit. You will, however, have to obtain your permit before participating in the “in-car” portion of driver’s education. Once you have it, we can pair you with an instructor in your area.
Where do I send my contract?
Once you have completed the Online Contract signed by both parent and student, you are welcome to scan & email them to email@example.com, or you can fax it to our corporate office at (734)665-7680. If you do not have access to email/fax, then you are welcome to mail it to our office at: 75 Aprill Drive, Ann Arbor, MI 48103.
How will I know when I can start the course?
As soon as we receive the contract, we will send you a “welcome email” that will let you know your account is ready to be accessed! It will also provide you with the website of where to login, your current username we have on file, and a brief overview of the course.
Please feel free to ask any other questions via email directly to our online division at firstname.lastname@example.org, or you may call our corporate office 734-665-7374.
