All Star’s state-approved Online Teen Program equips students with the critical knowledge needed to become a safe driver for life. This course consists of:

Students have the flexibility to complete 2 hours of online learning each day, and a 180 day window is given to complete the program. Wisconsin Teen FAQ’s

You must be at 14 and 6 months to start the program. Individuals who are 18 or older are not obligated to complete this program, but they have the option to do so to acquire additional knowledge. 

The Wisconsin Teen Online course is a 30-hour program, allowing students to engage in 2 hours of online learning per day. The course is required to extend over a minimum of 21 days, and students are granted a total of 180 days to successfully complete the program.   

There is no final exam that students must pass in order to pass the online course. We do have a practice final exam at the end of our course that must be taken, but there is no minimum score you must receive in order to pass.  

Students have a 180-day window from the date the course is started to successfully complete the program. 

Your certificate of completion will come from no-reply@dot.wi.gov no more than a maximum of 10 days after completing the program.     

  • Be at least 15 years old. 
  • ​Have completed or be enrolled in an approved behind-the-wheel​ driver education course which begins within 60 days of the date y​our driver education instructor certifies your driver license application​. 
  • Have your adult sponsor sign the driver license application. 
Present proof of: 
  • Citizenship or legal status in the U.S. 
  • Name and date of birth 
  • Identity 
  • Wisconsin residency 
  • Provide your Social Security Number 
  • Pass the knowledge test, Highway Signs test and vision screening.
