How does online driver’s education work?
You will just need to create an account on our website, pay, and submit your contract. Once your Indiana Online contract is submitted, you will have full access to your course.
You will be required to have your Learner’s License to start the 6 Hours of Behind The Wheel driving. You can obtain a permit once you are enrolled in a driver's education course and present the Enrollment Certificate Form 37358 to the Indiana BMV. Once you have obtained your permit please try to schedule online through your account.
How long will this course take to complete?
That depends on your individual pace. In Indiana, all drivers’ education courses must be at least 30 hours. You can always go at your own pace and log in and out at your convenience. You have 180 days to complete the entire online class.
Students can only work up to three hours per 24 hours. If you need to leave for any reason make sure to log off, the system will save your progress. If you don’t log off, then the timer will continue to run even if you are not actively working on the course. Once you hit the daily time limit, you cannot work on the course again for 24 hours.
I can’t log in. my account says “pending.”
Even though the account is successfully made and entered into our system, we do still require a copy of the Indiana Combo Online Contract before we can “unlock” the account for the student to begin actively working on the course. This can be completed on your account.
How long do I have to work on the course?
The state allows you to work on the course for up to 3 hours a day. If you hit that 3-hour mark, you will be logged out of your class and have to wait 24 hours before you can log back in.
Is driver education required for me?
It is required for anyone under the age of 16 and 9 months old.
How old do I have to be to start driver education?

You will be required to have your Learner’s License in order to start the 6 Hours of Behind the Wheel driving. You can self-schedule your drives through our online scheduling system once all required documents are submitted. If no drives are available please contact our office.
