Overall a great experience ! The instructor was able to help with rescheduling class time when we had conflicts. Since the driving academy is operated out of the high school it was easy. Mr Laihr is a very patient and encouraging instructor. We will be using again

My daughter just finished segment 1 and we were very happy with our experience. Scott Morton was a great instructor and we had zero issues. He kept the parents fully informed and was right on time for all the drives. I will not hesitate to use All Star.

We had a good overall experience with All Star; we did the online/in-car training option in Ohio. The only challenge is scheduling drive times. They were booked several months in advance. We'd suggest booking as soon as you sign up.
Eligibility
Minimum Age: 15 yrs
Maximum Age: 18 yrs
Segment 2 is taken a minimum of 3 continuous months after a student receives his or her Graduated Level 1 License.
More Information
Segment 2 is a 6-hour class that helps teens learn how to identify risks with a special focus on dangerous driving behaviors, such as distractions, alcohol and drugs, drowsiness and emotions. Safety is All Star’s main priority. In this course, we will discuss and practice techniques to help your teen be a safer driver on the road.
This is a State-mandated class in which All Star will typically schedule over the course of three days for two hours a day. For virtual classes, there are 4 sessions, with the 4th being the in-person test. There is no driving involved for Segment Two.
**Please be advised that Foreign Exchange Students will not receive any type of Michigan Permit nor will you receive a refund if you decide not to take the driver’s education class, which is for learning purposes only.
PLEASE NOTE: You must upload all the required paperwork on your All Star Student Portal at least 7 days before the start of class else you will be removed from the class.
