Who is eligible for Minnesota’s Mature Driver Accident Prevention 4 Hour Course?
Only licensed Minnesota residents aged 55 and older will qualify for a discount upon completion of this
course. Participants must possess a valid Minnesota Driver License and provide their license number
to enroll in this class. If you have completed the Minnesota 8-Hour Course, you are eligible to enroll in
this 4-Hour Course.
What is the purpose of an Accident Prevention program?
Accident Prevention classes are designed to teach and reinforce the rules of the road, ensuring you are
better prepared for the unexpected. The program teaches various techniques to help you become a
safer driver. Additionally, taking a defensive driving class can earn you a 3-point credit on your driving
record and potentially qualify you for a discount on your auto insurance.
All Star Driver Education offers both the initial basic accident prevention course and a follow-up refresher
course, allowing you to continue your education, stay up to date with your driving skills, and continue
earning benefits.
Is the Minnesota Mature Driver Accident Prevention 4 Hour Course right for me?
The Minnesota Accident Prevention Mature Driver 4-Hour Refresher Course is intended for those
continuing their defensive driving education and benefits after three years.
How do I sign up for an online class?

What happens if I fail my Final Exam?
Three attempts to pass the final exam are allowed. Individuals who fail the final exam 3 times will be
required to retake and repay for the course. Contact All Star Driver Education for more information.
When do I get a certificate of completion?
Upon successful completion of the course and achieving a final exam score of at least 80%, the
Certificate of Completion will immediately be available for download.
